Police are continuing to question a 33-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in the back while walking her dog in Devon. The 49-year-old victim was attacked on a footpath on Bowden Hill in the village of Yealmpton on Monday morning. Officers said she was still "poorly" but her injuries were not thought to be life threatening. A passer-by who tried to help her was also injured after being punched in the face. |
